Yes, the pockets actually work and so do the zippers! Ha-ha! These 100% wool mittens are on the lighter side but will still keep your hands nice and warm. The pocket adds two layers of wool to the inside of the mitten. The palms are gray. They are lined with high quality winter fleece, like all of our mittens.
